Finally, I get to present yet another Pinky Cares! It seems like so long doesn't it? But not as long as Mystery Pics, which I think I posted only once or twice...
Anyway, I am proud to present the next penguin we will be helping... Um... Reporter! You see this brown penguin has a dream. He dreams of being the reporter everyone watches to see what's happening. He dreams of being a very rich and famous reporter. Sadly, he does not have the right te

cnique! In this picture, it looks like he is doing fine, but here's the real story.Um... Reporter decided to start his career with a simple interview with Gary about the snow in the Ski Lodge Attic. He was very nervous. He kept on messing up. He didn't know what to do. He told a joke, and everyone booed. He was very embarassed. He tried to hide his embarassment and quickly ended the show. That was the end of that.
So you see, this penguin is having a very hard time. So, please, have the heart to help him! Remember, to help, all you need to do is give him some tips right away. I will be sure to send them to him as soon as I can! Remember, we are all united in one way or another. Let us help each other as if they are our brothers and sisters. We are all the same except for our talents and weaknesses. But we can make those weaknesses vanish by getting help from others. So remember, please help!

ReplyDeleteFirst of all, you need to get some more confidence in yourself! Stop calling yourself 'Umm... Reporter' and introduce yourself as Mr. Reporter!
Next of all, I suggest that you prepare a schedule for your shows. Instead of standing around there, clueless, get a plan of what you should do! Maybe you should ask Aunt Arctic for a little scheduling advice. She'd be happy to help!

ReplyDeleteI would like to be kind, but also straight to the point. So kindly excuse any rudeness.
I say what Peggie says. Get more confident. You will not be able to call yourself 'Um...Reporter' in the future. Penguins will not hire you simply because of your name.
Um...Reporter, if you are early for the interview, you probably shouldn't tell weird jokes. Penguins could get impatient, and drop the newspaper right away. So you need to please ask the penguin you're interviewing to be on time, and you yourself would have to find something to amuse the audience. Try something everybody would like.
And last but not least, be dignified. Show you know what you're doing. Don't stand there like a dodo. And ask questions that stick to the topic. It shows you know that you're awesome, which is obviously what you're aiming for, right? Being an awesome reporter?
