Here's everything you need to know about it!
What is the Global Citizenship program?
Global Citizenship is the program in which Club Penguin partners with other companies and programs to help families all over the world to live happier, healthier lives. They help areas in need- from food, to education, to the environment.
What places is Global Citizenship helping?
In Africa: Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Kenya, Lesotho, Rwanda, and Uganda
In Asia: Afghanistan, China, India, Indonesia, and Malaysia
In Europe: Georgia and the United Kingdom
In North America: Canada, Haiti, and the United States
In South America: Ecuador
In what ways can Global Citizenship help countries?
Global Citizenship helps build classrooms for schools, resource centers for communities, libraries, cleaner water systems and latrines, community gardens, hospitals, and more! It also teaches kids about Internet safety, public speaking, and leadership programs. Another way it helps is by raising and donating some of the site-raised money for campaigns and foundations that support good causes.
What are Global Citizenship Teams and what do they do?
Global Citizenship Teams consist of Club Penguin employees who join many charitable volunteer programs. They go "planting trees, taking impoverished kids to the movies... recycling, [and] carpooling."
Which companies does Global Citizenship partner with?
The New Horizon Foundation (ridding the world of poverty by improving the lives of families around the world);
Free the Children (helping educate kids everywhere);
The Horn of Africa (improving health, welfare, and women's antipoverty projects in Ethiopia); War Child (helping improve the lives of war-affected children);
Partners in Health (bringing health-care centers to impoverished areas);
Wildlife Conservation Network (protecting endangered species of animals and their habitats);
Rare (protecting endangered species of animals, the environment, and people that live near them.)
How can I be a part of Global Citizenship and make a difference?
There is the Think WE! Speaking Tour, where elementary school students see "dynamic speakers [that] will inspire you and your friends with their passion for social change."
There is also the Kids Matching Gift Program, where "your school [can] help a village in one of the world’s poorest regions." Club Penguin will help by "matching the funds you raise up to $5,000"! (Send information requests to)
How can I add to Global Citizenship?
