Hi everyone! Well the newspaper finally came out a while ago, sorry I couldn't post it until now- there is some big news in the paper that I don't want you to miss! So here goes...

#1- LAST CHANCE for Writing Contest!If you've ever wanted to be a penguin writer, this is your last chance! The Snowball Press is looking for well-written stories on these topics- Hiking Vikings, Wacky Wildlife, Ultimate Igloo Dance Parties, and Turning Blue and Tipping the Iceberg. This is the last week to enter!

#2- Color Votes Being Counted...This is it, everyone! The second-ever Club Penguin Color Vote. The vote is off, and the winning color will be released on August 7th in the Penguin Style catalog! Which color will win- lavender, aqua, or maroon?

#3- Small Problem May Need BIG SOLUTIONThe glass in the Underground Pool needs replacing. "The last time we left it too long, it cracked," says Gary. We are going to have to find a solution to replace it... but how will we do that and not flood the island? I smell a party! Check the news next week for details.

So we're waiting for a lot of answers. Which stories will be in the next book? Which color won the vote? And HOW will Gary manage to replace the glass? We'll find out as much as we can!

I have good news for all aspiring authors! Club Penguin is hosting a writing contest! Remember all the books in the Book Room? Some of them are from previous contests. Who's ready to spin a story?

The topics are all about 101 Days of Fun! Check them out:

Four of the best stories will be chosen. I'm sure hundreds of penguins will enter- so write your very best! An incentive: the winner gets big bucks and a special postcard!

Remember: keep your stories appropriate and make sure they take place in Club Penguin! Along with your writing talents, be sure to use proper grammar and punctuation.
